Welcome to Access Waterloo Region!

Since 1994 several community agencies have worked in partnership to provide and promote the Access Waterloo Region/Community Connections Booklet and organize an annual Information Evening for People with Disabilities. With financial support from the Catholic Community Foundation, we have improved our website:  www.accesswaterlooregion.ca.

The intent of the website is to promote non-profit and not for profit resources within Waterloo Region and to make this information widely accessible.

The Access Waterloo Region website is the first step in creating a unique resource specific to this area for those living, working or supporting someone with a disability. It offers an easy way to search for options and make decisions about programs that may meet needs and interests.

Developmental Services Access Centre - Waterloo Region

The Developmental Services Access Centre - Waterloo Region (DSAC) is the single point of access to developmental services in the Region of Waterloo.
We assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their caregivers in connecting with community services and supports.  DSAC is administered by Sunbeam Residential Development Centre, with office space in Kitchener, Cambridge, and Elmira, Ontario.
