Welcome to Access Waterloo Region!

Since 1994 several community agencies have worked in partnership to provide and promote the Access Waterloo Region/Community Connections Booklet and organize an annual Information Evening for People with Disabilities. With financial support from the Catholic Community Foundation, we have improved our website:  www.accesswaterlooregion.ca.

The intent of the website is to promote non-proft and not for profit resources within Waterloo Region and to make this information widely accessible.

The Access Waterloo Region website is the first step in creating a unique resource specific to this area for those living, working or supporting someone with a disability. It offers an easy way to search for options and make decisions about programs that may meet needs and interests.

Who We Are
K-W Habilitation Services is a non-profit organization providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
We enable people in Kitchener Waterloo to gain more independence by helping them find work, find a home and offering other forms of practical assistance.

K-W Habilitation Services believes that individuals with developmental disabilities have the right to live in the community, to participate therein and have the right to those resources which would realize these goals.
