What Can Persons With a Disability Expect From Museums and Art Galleries? - Tuesday, March 2, 1010 at 7:30 pm EST

Presenter: John Rae

John Rae is a lover of visiting places of historic interest and has traveled extensively. He is blind and is the 1st Vice President of the Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians. This webinar will include an overview from a cross disability perspective based on John Rae's presentation to a national conference on Access to Art Galleries and Museums held in Ottawa in October, 2009, and will include ample time for discussion of these concepts and how we might work together to increase access for disabled patrons to Canada's museums, art galleries and historic properties.

Captioning, ASL and intervenor accommodation is available upon request, thanks to funding from the Office for Disability Issues, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
