March 19th
April 3rd and 4th
The Waterloo District Chapter of the MS Society of Canada will be featured at The Museum with experiential simulations of the body's reactions to a compromised nervous system. Experience some of the physical affects when your nervous system falls apart. Participate in live simulations to help you understand what it feels like and how you can help someone who struggles with MS. Through understanding we will build a community where everyone can live with dignity.

Communication, Cognitive, Learning Challenges Technology

Free Recorded Webinar

Using Technology to Help People with Communication, Cognitive and Learning Challenges

I have been consulting with a number of rehabilitation facilities and graduate SLP programs to help them learn more about using technology to help others. Recently, I developed a 70 minute webinar for a group of graduate students and have decided to make it available to everyone for free. During the webinar, I provide a framework for using cutting edge affordable resources to improve communication and cognition to help a wide variety of adults and children. Please feel free to forward this info to others who might find it helpful. All you need to do is create a user name and password to view it.

To view this presentation, go to http://tr.im/ittswebinar. The recording is in Windows Media File Format. It should work fine for PC as well as Mac users. If a Mac user doesn't have recent updates for Windows Media Files, they can install this Free download to access it.
