The Julien Project uses horticultural therapy as a complementary community based initiative that will further enhance the health and social welfare of people of all ages with emotional, developmental and physical disabilities.

Over 3,300,000 Canadians report some level of disability that poses a unique problem to their health. What elements are needed to overcome the barriers and health problems experienced by individuals with a disability? Approaches in the disability field are moving away from a medical/treatment focus toward an approach that stresses citizen control, independent living, empowerment, social networks, social support and community inclusion.

Justice for Children and Youth provides select legal representation to low-income children and youth in Toronto and vicinity. We are a non-profit legal aid clinic that specializes in protecting the rights of those facing conflicts with the legal system, education, social service or mental health systems. We give summary legal advice, information and assistance to young people, parents (in education matters), professionals and community groups across Ontario.
