Agencies working to break the silence of suicide

Far too often they suffer in silence.

At least three recent deaths by suicide, all within a few weeks of each other, has once again raised concerns that more needs to be done locally to help prevent a problem with deep and lasting impacts in the community.

It was the alarming number of suicides in a short span of time a few years ago that led local agencies to come together to create a group aimed at generating awareness about suicide prevention and support for those impacted by it.

Suicide Action Wilmot Wellesley (SAWW) is one of those groups.
