Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office is hiring Rights Advisers

As an on-call community rights adviser, you will: provide rights advice services to patients and/or substitute decision-makers as required under the Mental Health Act, including advising them of their right and options and assisting them, upon request, to apply to the Consent and Capacity Board, to retain a lawyer and to apply for legal aid. You will travel to meet with patients or substitute decision makers in the facilities or the community in your area.
Positions are available as follows:
1 - Kitchener area
3 - Toronto area
1 - Ottawa area (position in this location is bilingual)
