About ACCESS WATERLOO REGION

Throughout each year, seven community agencies, the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and the Waterloo Region District School Board work in partnership to provide and promote the publication of the Booklet and organize the Information Evening every April. In April 2008 the Committee also launched the Website to help make information and resources more accessible.

The intent of the Booklet is to provide people (living within Waterloo Region) with information and access to resources that are available in our communities. It offers an easy way to search for options and make decisions about programs that may meet needs and interests.

The information, as well as additional links, is available for online viewing and downloading on this website.

Thank you to all of the individuals and agencies who have given freely of their time in assisting with publishing this valuable resource.

We also gratefully acknowledge the COMMUNITY INFORMATION CENTRE OF WATERLOO REGION, a program of the SOCIAL PLANNING COUNCIL OF KITCHENER WATERLOO, for assisting with the annual updating and formatting of the booklet. The COMMUNITY INFORMATION CENTRE also maintains a larger database of all programs and services for the people of Waterloo Region.

Information changes often and updates are always welcome.
